🎪 Jolly Kids Castles – Inflatable Hire Disclaimer & Safety Agreement
To keep everybody safe and ensure a smooth hire, we kindly ask that the person booking the inflatable (“the Hirer”) reads and agrees to the safety rules below.
Please read & complete this disclaimer below before your hire date.
👤 Hirer Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to avoid injury to users and/or damage to the inflatable throughout the hire period.
A responsible adult (18+) must supervise the inflatable closely at all times while in use.
✅ Safety Rules (Must Be Followed)
🧒 Safe Play

No overcrowding – limit the number of users based on their age and size.

Children of mixed ages should not use the inflatable at the same time.

No pushing, fighting, colliding or boisterous behaviour.
🚫 Food / Drinks / Items
-
No food, drink or chewing gum on or near the inflatable.
-
Shoes, glasses, jewellery and any sharp/hard objects must be removed before use.
🚫 Party Items
-
No face paint, party poppers, coloured streamers/confetti or silly string on or near the inflatable.
🚭 Smoking / Heat / Pets
-
No smoking or vaping near the inflatable.
-
No barbeques, candles or naked flames near the inflatable.
-
No pets on or near the inflatable.
🧱 Climbing / Step Safety

No climbing, hanging or sitting on the inflatable walls or beams.

Do not bounce on the front step (this is for safe entry/exit only).
👨👩👧 Adults / Age Use
Unless an adult inflatable has been hired:

Adults are not permitted on the inflatable.

Standard inflatables are suitable for children only (maximum age guideline 12 years, unless otherwise stated).

Children and adults must never use the inflatable at the same time.
⚡ Power / Equipment Safety

Keep children away from the blower and rear/sides of the inflatable at all times.

Tie-down points must not be touched or tampered with.
-
No unauthorised person may move the inflatable or interfere with electrical equipment.

If the inflatable is not being used at any point during the hire, please switch the blower off at the mains.

Nobody should be on the inflatable during inflation or deflation.
🌧️ Weather Rules (Very Important)

The inflatable must not be used if the jumping surface becomes wet.

If rain occurs and no rain cover is fitted, the inflatable must stop being used immediately.

In heavy rain/poor weather, it is strongly recommended that the inflatable be switched off and left unused until conditions improve.
🚨 Faults / Emergencies
If the equipment fails for any reason, please ensure all users get off immediately and contact us straight away.
🧼 Condition / Cleaning & Damage
The inflatable must be returned in an acceptable condition (clean, unsoiled and undamaged).
If the inflatable is returned heavily soiled or damaged, the Hirer may be liable for additional charges to cover cleaning/repairs and any loss of earnings if the inflatable is taken out of service.
🛡️ Liability
Jolly Kids Castles holds public liability insurance.
Jolly Kids Castles cannot accept responsibility for injury, loss or damage caused by misuse of the equipment, failure to follow these safety rules, unsafe conditions, unsafe behaviour or inadequate supervision.
