FAQs

Here are some of the questions we get asked on a daily basis when our customers inquire or book one of our products. If you can’t find your question on here, feel free to contact us and we will be happy to answer any that you may still have.

Q. What happens if it’s raining on the day of my party?

A. As long as we haven’t delivered your castle(s) you may still cancel without incurring a charge. However, we would be grateful if you could call us as early as possible (between 8 am and 9 am) to cancel your booking.

Q. Access to our garden is difficult – are we able to go up steps and around obstacles?

A. This depends on how many steps there are in your garden and the size of the obstacles in the way. We are able to manoeuvre up and around most steps and obstacles ourselves, however, you may be required to help us into the garden.

Q. We have a bouncy castle booked but our child has been taken ill on the morning of the party, can we cancel?

A. Yes, this is certainly not a problem if we haven’t delivered the equipment already, but please let us know as early as possible.

Q. Can the bouncy castle be used in wet weather?

A. All of our inflatables are safe to use in light showers and moderate rainfall. However, in severe unforeseen circumstances we would ask you to deflate the unit(s) and stay inside until it has passed.

Q. It has been raining all day and we haven’t been able to use the inflatable. Are we entitled to a refund?

A. Unfortunately we cannot control the weather and are unable to give refunds out due to bad weather. There is no charge for cancelling before we arrive, even on the day, so we ask you to be mindful of the current forecast for that week and arrange your party accordingly.

Q. My 18 year old wants a bouncy castle. Do you do adult inflatables?

A. Yes. We have a vast selection of adult units, castles and games to choose from – please see our adult section on the website for what we have to offer.

Q. We are worried about using the inflatable in the wind, how do you secure them?

A. All of our inflatables are secured into the ground with 15″ steaks and we use a minimum of 4 per castle to ensure a safe set-up.

Q. I want to book a bouncy castle for later in the year, how much notice do you need?

A. We don’t require any notice to book an inflatable however, we do advise you to book as early as possible to avoid any disappointment. If you need a bouncy castle on the day, give us a call, you may be in luck!

Q.Is there an age limit for our inflatables?

A. Yes, most of our castles are designed for children up to the age of 14. However, we do have a great range of adult castles to choose from which are suitable for all ages.

Q. Do I need electricity to power the fan for the castle?

A. Yes. Whilst we supply everything you need, including extension leads, to ensure a safe and secure set up, we do require a power source from you to enable us to inflate the unit(s). If your chosen venue has limited options or for instance you are in a school field, we can supply generators to run the inflatables but these are at an additional cost.

Q. Do you have public liability insurance?

A. Yes. We have a £5,000,000 public liability insurance policy which covers us against claims of personal injury or property damage that a third party may suffer, however we do have disclaimers in place that need to be signed which explain this.

Q. Do you close down during the winter?

A. No. Just because it gets cold, damp and dark in the winter months, it doesn’t stop us hiring out our inflatables. We have plenty of castles and soft play packages to choose from that are perfect for indoor venues such as schools and halls.

Q. I have a castle booked with you for the day, can I keep it over night?

A. Yes. All of are inflatables are available to hire overnight for an additional £30, subject to availability, which covers the cost of drying the unit from the night before and/or any extra cleaning work that may be required.

Q. Do I have to pay a deposit?

A. No. We don’t ask for anything other than cash upon delivery of the day of your party, however, we are able to take pre payments or the sum in full prior to your hire but this will need to be discussed at the time of booking.

Q. Do I need to provide anything?

A. Sometimes we may ask for one form of photo I.D to form part of our hire agreement when booking venues such as halls and weddings, e.t.c. (A passport or driving licence is sufficient)
