Here are some of the questions we get asked on a daily basis when customers enquire or book one of our products. If you can’t find your question here, feel free to contact us — we’ll be more than happy to help!
Q. What happens if it’s raining on the day of my party?
A. As long as we haven’t delivered your castle(s), you may still cancel without incurring a charge. However, we’d be grateful if you could call us as early as possible (between 8am and 9am) to cancel your booking.
Q. Access to our garden is difficult — are you able to go up steps or around obstacles?
A. This depends on how many steps there are and the size of any obstacles. We can usually manoeuvre up and around most steps and tight spaces, but you may need to give us a hand getting into the garden.
Q. We’ve booked a bouncy castle but our child is unwell on the morning of the party. Can we cancel?
A. Yes — that’s absolutely fine as long as we haven’t delivered the equipment yet. Please just let us know as early as possible
Q. Can the bouncy castle be used in wet weather?
A. All of our inflatables are safe to use in light showers or moderate rain. However, in severe weather we ask that you deflate the unit(s) and head indoors until it passes.
Q. It’s been raining all day and we haven’t been able to use the inflatable. Are we entitled to a refund?
A. Unfortunately, we can’t control the weather and are unable to give refunds for bad weather. There’s no charge for cancelling before we arrive, even on the day, so we recommend keeping an eye on the forecast and planning your event accordingly.
Q. My 18-year-old wants a bouncy castle — do you offer adult inflatables?
A. Yes! We have a great selection of adult-sized castles and inflatables — including games and larger setups. Please visit our Adult Section on the website to see what’s available.
Q. We’re worried about using the inflatable in windy conditions — how do you secure them?
A. All of our inflatables are securely anchored using 15″ stakes, with a minimum of four per castle, ensuring a safe and stable setup every time.
Q. I want to book a bouncy castle for later in the year. How much notice do you need?
A. We don’t require a specific notice period, but we recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Need something last-minute? Give us a call — you might be in luck!
Q. Is there an age limit for your inflatables?
A. Yes. Most of our castles are designed for children up to age 14, but we also have a fantastic range of adult castles that are suitable for all ages.
Q. Do I need electricity to power the fan for the castle?
A. Yes — a power source is required. We provide all the equipment you’ll need, including extension leads, for a safe and secure setup. If your venue doesn’t have easy access to power (such as a school field), we can supply generators (at an additional cost).
Q. Do you have public liability insurance?
A. Yes — we hold £5,000,000 public liability insurance, which covers us against claims of personal injury or property damage by a third party. Please note that disclaimers must be signed as part of our hire process.
Q. Do you close during the winter?
A. No! We hire out inflatables all year round. While the colder months may be damp and dark, we offer plenty of castles and soft play packages perfect for indoor venues such as halls and schools.
Q. I’ve booked a castle for the day — can I keep it overnight?
A. Yes — our inflatables can be hired overnight for an additional £30, subject to availability. This covers the cost of drying and cleaning if required.
Q. Do I have to pay a deposit?
A. No deposit required! Payment is made in cash on the day of delivery, although we can also accept pre-payments or full payments in advance if arranged at the time of booking.
Q. Do I need to provide anything?
A. Occasionally, we may ask for one form of photo ID (such as a passport or driving licence) as part of our hire agreement — particularly for venues such as halls or weddings.
